Category Manager

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Contract Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business needs and reduce costs
- Manage the procurement process from RFP to contract award, including vendor selection and negotiation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize sourcing initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Monitor and report on procurement metrics and performance
- 8+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sourcing and procurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with sourcing workflow solutions tools
- Skilled in RFx development and execution process
- Experience in technology and real-estate sourcing engagements
