Job Title: Freight Forwarding Logistician

International Fastline Forwarding Inc is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Logistician to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs to track shipments and inventory.
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse and work area.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports to track project milestones and deadlines.
  • Project manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Follow up on issues with work orders to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep track of shipments and inventory to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced logistics environment.
