About the Role

The Vice President of Operations is a key member of the Eclipse Automation leadership team, responsible for driving business growth and success within the Technology Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall strategy and direction of the Technology Centers, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead a team of General Managers and enablement functions to drive business success, including sales pipeline management and customer relationship building.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior business development leaders to ensure sales pipeline is poised to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Hold regular business reviews with stakeholders to establish goals, understand progression, and make necessary adjustments throughout the fiscal year.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Management, and relevant background with respect to the Automation industry.
  • PMP, P.Eng, MBA, or CPA are an asset.
  • 10+ years in a leadership role within custom automation and or advanced manufacturing with increasing responsibility, 5 or more of which are in senior management operational capacity.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Thorough understanding of project management best practices, including tools for budget, schedule, and issue management as well as key performance metrics.
