Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing pre-operational inspections on equipment and monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Conducting allergen checks and participating in internal and external quality audits.
  • Inspecting raw materials and products for quality and reporting any deficiencies to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Participating in sanitation inspections and ensuring that employees on the production line are following proper procedures.
  • Monitoring temperature and humidity levels in coolers and freezers.
  • Ensuring that products meet required specifications and segregating products that do not meet specifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • A positive and eager attitude.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts (8-10 hours) with flexibility for overtime as needed.
  • Reliable transportation or own vehicle.
  • Team player with a willingness to jump in and help others.
  • Flexible and able to jump from task to task quickly.
  • Forward thinking and able to look for new and better ways to deliver high-quality products.
  • Go-Getter attitude with a drive for quality and a job well done.
