Revenue Manager Job Description

ClickHouse is a cloud-first company focused on growing a vibrant user community. We are seeking a skilled Revenue Manager to own and refine our finance processes and infrastructure, particularly in support of accounts payable, corporate expense report administration, and associated reconciliations as part of the month-end close cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform frequent review of revenue transactions, including verification, classification, and recording, and reconciliation of sales-related journal entries.
  • Proactively own reconciliation between source systems for metering and customer usage of ClickHouse Cloud to various invoicing systems.
  • Own international and domestic tax and revenue-related forms and analytics.
  • Post and reconcile general ledger accounts such as deferred revenue, accounts receivable, accrued revenue, and recognized revenue to ensure all invoices and collections are accounted for and properly posted in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Create and present revenue analytics monthly, quarterly, and annually for various end users.
  • Monitor and optimize existing finance and accounting processes, working with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead revenue tool selection process to increase process efficiency in the domain.
  • Assist with annual financial statement preparation and collection of underlying support for audit.
  • Collaborate with the broader Operations team and other internal stakeholders on ad hoc tasks as needed.

  • CPA Required.
  • Experience with ASC 606 is required.
  • Experience with consumption-based/usage-based revenue at a SaaS company is required.
  • Knowledge of software accounting business standards and revenue recognition best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting.
  • Experience working with NetSuite and Stripe strongly preferred.
