Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Physiotherapy department at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes by promoting functional independence and enabling them to maintain their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and interventions related to patients' occupational performance according to established Occupational Therapy practices and national provincial college standards.
  • Work as a team member under the general supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist of the OT department.
  • Rotate between acute physical/medical inpatient wards and outpatient services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
