Job Summary

The Front of House Operations Supervisor is accountable for the daily management of Front of House activities. This role involves leading the team to provide guests with authentic hospitality and prompt service. It is essential to ensure that every guest receives attentive care and that any issues are resolved efficiently. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe environment for all team members is also a key responsibility.

This position requires acting as a role model for the team, guiding groups effectively, and alleviating pressure from colleagues during busy periods. Exceptional character and integrity are expected from all Front of House Operations Supervisors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities may include:

· Oversee daily operations in the Front of House

· Direct the Kitchen team each shift with clear objectives and forecasts

· Manage team performance and staffing requirements

· Ensure adherence to recipes and accurate order preparation by team members

· Maintain precision in weights and measurements for all recipe items

· Ensure team members work efficiently to meet established service speed guidelines

· Enforce cash handling procedures among cashiers consistently

· Implement security and cash control measures, holding cashiers accountable

· Monitor cleanliness in dining areas, restrooms, parking lots, and overall facility

· Report employee performance and policy violations to management for appropriate action

· Comply strictly with all company policies and procedures

· Manage responsibilities such as cash management and food safety audits

· Stay alert and responsive to surroundings and communication updates

· Hold team members accountable for their roles

· Proactively identify tasks that need attention

· Effectively train and develop team members and trainers

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, both inside and outside

· Set and communicate goals and metrics for success (e.g., guest satisfaction scores, food waste)

· Engage with and resolve customer complaints through genuine hospitality

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), balancing, bending, standing for extended periods, walking, and handling materials and equipment

· Serve as a role model for new hires and existing team members

· Provide constructive feedback using the E.S.R.M Model

· Lead by example with enthusiasm and dedication to developing a strong team with high standards

· Maintain records of stock and food waste

· Clean front of house dishes and equipment

· Adhere rigorously to food safety and restaurant safety practices

· Maintain a Food Safety Score of 1 with no high-risk findings

Expectations:

Permanent Position. Schedule includes Monday to Saturday, with some holidays.

Hours of Operations: 10:30am – 10:00pm. Hours may vary.

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Candidate Qualifications

· Previous customer service experience is an asset

· Leadership experience is preferred

· Current Food Safety Certificate is required

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proficient in general computer skills (e.g., MS Office)

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

· Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and effective multitasking
