Kitchen Manager Job Description

Boston Pizza Front & John is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen assistants.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen assistants, and other support staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement menu plans, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
  • Manage kitchen budgets, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to work in a kitchen environment
