About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Management Advisor to join our team at the National Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Commercial & Private Banking 1859 sector, you will be responsible for developing and implementing wealth management strategies for our high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with high net worth clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.
  • Provide personalized wealth management advice and guidance to clients, including investment planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
  • Work closely with internal partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external partners to leverage their expertise and resources to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and economic conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Monitor and adjust client portfolios as needed to ensure alignment with their goals and risk tolerance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Completed Securities Trading Course and Standards of Conduct Handbook.
  • Holding a professional title such as CFA, FICVM, CPA, or Pl.Fin is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in business development and relationship management with high net worth clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
