Job Overview
destinationone Consulting is conducting a specialized search for an Import/Export Coordinator on behalf of Nanak Foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating effective communication with agents and clients to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Managing pre-alert notifications to keep clients and agents updated on air shipment schedules.
  • Compiling, overseeing, and distributing status reports to clients regularly.
  • Monitoring shipments with airlines, agents, and transporters for timely updates.
  • Verifying the accuracy of essential documents such as bills of lading and preliminary paperwork.
  • Providing consistent updates to clients and agents regarding shipment statuses.
  • Coordinating organized and timely pick-ups from shippers.
  • Issuing invoices with precision and punctuality.
  • Managing claims processes when necessary, adhering to established protocols.
  • Tracking outstanding charges and handling financial transactions with care.
  • Approving payables in accordance with established financial guidelines.
  • Dispatching and following up on Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
  • Ensuring accurate and timely closure of files.
  • Maintaining and updating the Client status report diligently.
  • Addressing and resolving issues as they arise efficiently.
  • Executing any additional job-related tasks with commitment and thoroughness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • CITT and/or CIFFA certifications are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Air Freight Import & Export logistics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party logistics providers effectively.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret complex instructions.
  • Customer-oriented with outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • A friendly and supportive demeanor with a willingness to assist.
  • Exhibiting honesty, trustworthiness, and respect in all interactions.
  • Demonstrating sound work ethics in a dynamic environment.
  • Possessing strong organizational skills and financial acumen.
