The City of St. Catharines is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Lifeguards and Instructors. If you are passionate about ensuring the safety of others and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this position may be suitable for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned by management
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a clean and healthy aquatic facility
  • Engage participants with enthusiasm and energy, promoting a positive learning environment
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and execute proper rescue techniques
  • Ensure all aquatic equipment is in proper working condition

Required Qualifications

  • National Lifeguard certification
  • Lifesaving Society Swim and Lifesaving Instructor certifications
  • Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
  • Experience working in aquatic environments
  • Commitment to aquatic safety

Compensation: $21.80 for Lifeguards; $23.06 for Instructors

Work Location: Various City of St. Catharines aquatic facilities

Hours: Up to 24 hours per week

Note: This is a seasonal position
