Ophardt Hygiene is a leading provider of hygiene solutions, committed to breaking the chain of infection. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team and drive quality improvements across our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality management standards and lead internal audits to maintain compliance.
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems for manufacturing processes, utilizing CMM and vision system technologies.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize product quality.
- Monitor and analyze product defects, process deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and provide feedback for improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of documentation related to Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Assist in the training and development of quality assurance and production staff on quality control methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and auditing practices.
- Understanding and experience with CMM and vision systems for quality inspection.
- Strong understanding of FMEA, RCA, and continuous improvement processes.
- Project management experience and skill set is preferred.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and disciplined individual with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent English written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability and willingness to travel is also required.
