**Job Title**: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technician

As an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technician at Medical Saints, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and pest-free environment for our cannabis crops. You will work with the IPM Manager and closely with our cultivation team to implement and oversee IPM strategies to protect our plants from pests and diseases while minimizing the use of pesticides.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and monitor integrated pest management strategies to prevent and control pests and diseases in the cannabis greenhouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants, identifying pest and disease problems, and determining appropriate treatment measures.
- Collaborate with cultivation team members to develop and implement IPM plans tailored to specific strains and growth stages.
- Maintain accurate records of pest and disease observations, treatment actions, and efficacy evaluations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research, trends, and best practices in IPM techniques for cannabis cultivation.
- Coordinate with external consultants, pest control specialists, and regulatory agencies as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in integrated pest management, preferably in a greenhouse or agricultural setting.
- Knowledge of common pests, diseases, and beneficial organisms affecting cannabis plants.
- Familiarity with IPM principles, techniques, and tools, including biological controls and organic pesticides.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify pests and diseases.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data analysis.
- Pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in horticulture or pest management is a plus.
