As a Process Technician at Ophardt Hygiene, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment and processes to meet production goals while upholding our quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our operations.
In this role you will:
- Operate Injection Molding Machines / Auxiliary Equipment and Troubleshoot Processing Issues.
- Complete mold hanging procedures using overhead Crane to move molds and equipment.
- Ensure FOD Cleanliness of Injection Molds.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Set-up and start injection molding machines.
- Assure that mold setup, material changeovers and housekeeping standards are met.
- Ensure molding machines and auxiliary equipment are set correctly and running accordingly to meet quality standards and production output.
- Adjust and troubleshoot molding process when necessary; communicate with Tool room personnel any issues with the tools.
- Maintain cleanliness on molding machines, molds and auxiliary equipment, and area around molding machines.
- Set up and monitor robots and end-of-arm tooling.
- In conjunction with other departments, participate in identifying and analyzing non-conformance or production/quality problems; and developing, implementing, and verifying corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on molding machines.
Education and experience:
- Completion of high school or College diploma and/or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge, preferably in the plastics industry with experience in injection molding.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, very detailed-oriented
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
