Electrical Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The Electrical Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. This role requires electrical knowledge, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team.
**Duties**:
- Ownership of the company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring established policies and procedures are being executed at the manufacturing site, aligning with engineering and compliance policies.
- Working closely with site Operations Managers and Quality Coordinators to ensure the company’s QMS is sustained and scalable for future growth; constant focus on continuous improvement is a must
- Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing
- Continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques
- Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
- Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes
- Ensuring all controlled quality documents are maintained and updated as required
- Establish management processes and tools to facilitate personnel training and auditing to quality-related standard operating procedures
- Establish and report on quality-based metrics to measure product and manufacturing performance, customer satisfaction, and effectiveness of the QMS; communicating with Senior Leadership for broader strategic evaluation and planning
- Assumes a lead role in operational QN investigations (customer quality complaints), working closely with Operation leaders to improve quality performance based on customer claims
- Work in collaboration with the President and Plant Manager, and other members of the company’s senior leadership, to ensure overall company goals are met
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum 5 year experience with ISO 9001:2015 is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or sufficient manufacturing experience with direct QMS responsibilities is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial work experience, with preference for the metal and building materials industries.
- Demonstrate excellent communications, training & leadership skills; with proven project management talent and a solid believe in lean manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Effective communication at multiple levels within the organization
- Problem solving skills
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills are an asset
- Experience setting up automated testing process and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
