About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Tornado Building Maintenance Corporation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our properties meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets and invoices.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities management, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
