About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Tornado Building Maintenance Corporation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our cleaning standards are met.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities for additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets and invoices.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the resources and equipment required to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities management operations are aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules that ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
