Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Corporate Human Resources Director will play a pivotal role within the Senior Leadership Team at Meridia Recruitment Solutions. As a strategic HR executive, the selected candidate will collaborate with management and leadership across the organization to assess current and future talent requirements, ensuring a robust focus on global talent management and employee development initiatives that align with the company's overarching business goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives; Evaluate the organizational structure, capabilities, and culture to pinpoint areas for enhancement and devise strategies to bolster organizational effectiveness; Oversee executive compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with company performance and governance standards; Address current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital; Create and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction; Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace; Identify leadership development requirements and establish succession plans for critical roles within the organization; Collaborate with managers to identify essential roles, skills gaps, and future talent requirements globally; Lead organizational development efforts to enhance company performance and employee experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is an innovative, strategic human resources leader with a proven track record in overseeing and executing talent management and employee development initiatives that cater to a large and diverse workforce. Recent career experiences should emphasize corporate HR functions, supporting substantial employee groups, and advancing the business through strategic initiatives across various HR domains.

Qualifications:

Over 10 years of experience in Human Resources, including significant leadership roles, preferably at the Director or Executive level; Post-secondary education, ideally with a focus on Human Resources or a related field, with relevant experience also considered; CPHR designation is a strong asset; Familiarity with Executive Compensation programs within a public company is advantageous; Proven success in developing and implementing HR strategies that yield business results; Experience utilizing data and metrics to inform and drive HR strategies; Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
