We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team at Akshar Accounting & Bookkeeping Services.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our accounting team, including data entry, financial reporting, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and reconciliations
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks, including preparing financial projections and analyzing variances
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Working Conditions:

The Assistant Accountant will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
