Job Title: Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team at Akshar Accounting & Bookkeeping Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise staff in accounting duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of accounting equipment and software
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate and review work assignments and tasks
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
