We are seeking a skilled Steamfitter-Pipefitter to join our team at University Health Network. As a Steamfitter-Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe to ensure proper fit and function.
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
- Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.
- Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment.
- Select the type and size of pipe required for each project.
- Test systems for leaks using testing equipment.
- Estimate costs and materials for each project.
- Repair and maintain equipment as needed.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification.
- Experience in pipelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
