Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steamfitter-Pipefitter to join our team at University Health Network. As a Steamfitter-Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and measure pipe materials, cutting and reaming as necessary
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Select the type and size of pipe required
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Certifications and Experience

A Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification is required for this position. You will also need to have experience working with pipelines and in a fast-paced industrial environment.
