Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steamfitter and Pipefitter to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe to ensure proper fit and function
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Select type and size of pipe required
  • Test system for leaks using testing equipment
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
