Pipefitter and Steamfitter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter and Steamfitter to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems and steamfitters.
Key Responsibilities- Select and measure pipe materials, cutting and threading as required
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
- Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
- Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
- Select the type and size of pipe required
- Test systems for leaks using testing equipment
- Estimate costs and materials
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
A Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification is required for this role. You will also need to have experience working with pipelines and a strong understanding of piping systems.
