Job Description

Overview

Forest View Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development department, you will be responsible for creating demand for our services through effective marketing and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between our facility and referral sources, implementing service-oriented action plans to meet their needs.
  • Assess, develop, and implement sales activities to achieve maximum market penetration among assigned accounts and identify potential accounts in targeted market segments.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing referral sources and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor referral inquiries and admissions statistics, analyzing data to ensure the effectiveness of our sales action plans.
  • Develop and communicate sales messaging for each program offered and target audience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assigned top accounts, key contacts, and planning reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and anticipate changes or developments in our target market, utilizing this information to inform our sales strategies.
  • Utilize proprietary reports to plan sales activity and maintain proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Facilitate positive, timely, and accurate communication among stakeholders, encouraging cooperation and problem-solving skills to build and secure relationships.
  • Attend and actively participate in Business Development team meetings, providing marketing reports, updates, and Service Recovery opportunities to the Director of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience required, 5-8 years preferred.
  • Demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, and knowledge of marketing and sales principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and competency in computer usage and Microsoft Office suite.
