About the Role

Pura Vida Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of other carpenters and construction staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters and construction staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
