About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Steelcrest Construction Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Develop and submit accurate quotations and tenders for construction projects.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Meet tight deadlines and work under pressure to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong judgement and reliability in decision-making and task completion.
