About the Role

Pura Vida Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of other carpenters and construction staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Carpentry and Joinery: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create high-quality carpentry products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test carpentry products to ensure they meet the required standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters and construction staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Work Environment

As a Carpentry Specialist with Pura Vida Contracting Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
