Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Geomatics and Energy Analyst to join our Development Services team. As a key member of our team, you will focus on geomatics and spatial design planning for multiple projects, including wind and solar initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical experts to support business development for screening and design of wind and solar generation projects.
  • Perform mapping and geomatics tasks using industry-leading software, including ArcGIS PRO, Global Mapper, and CAD.
  • Design and maintain an organizational system/database for management of spatial data.
  • Calculate buildable areas and advise the team on facility design strategies, including generating equipment layouts, crossings, and mitigation of physical constraints.
  • Create maps for communicating project details to governance, external stakeholders, permitting and regulatory requirements, and project design packages.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's preliminary design/optimization and energy yield analysis for wind and solar projects.
Requirements
  • Related university degree in Geomatics, Engineering, or a similar technical field, and a minimum of four or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience.
  • Proficient with ArcGIS PRO, Global Mapper, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
Working Conditions

  • North American travel may be required.
  • Attendance of industry events to represent Enbridge as a leader in renewable power development and communicate our strategy.
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and communicate across teams.
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal team members to align objectives.
