Admiral Glass Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to create detailed estimates
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
