Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Admiral Glass Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to prepare estimates
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • CADD Course
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction estimating
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
