Your Role
Our Vancouver office is seeking two full-time (37.5 hours per week) Lead Tax Consultants to join the Canadian Tax team and take on the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and evaluate personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns along with other tax-related documentation.
- Investigate tax matters and draft memoranda or client correspondence, including composing reports/letters suitable for the intended audience.
- Engage with tax authorities regarding income tax audits and appeals.
- Formulate and execute strategies for clients to leverage business opportunities.
- Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk assessments.

Your Qualifications and Background
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Have completed or are nearing completion of your CPA designation.
- Currently enrolled or in the process of enrolling in the in-depth tax course.
- Bring three to five years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Canadian tax.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax compliance and planning.
- Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
