About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for capturing sales from incoming reservations calls, coordinating details of each reservation, and completing internal reservation forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture sales from incoming reservations calls and coordinate details of each reservation.
  • Run daily reports for department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing, General Manager, and Department Head.
  • Process internal reservations, management reservations, reservations from the Central Reservations Office, employee complementary room requests, group blocks, travel agent discounts.
  • Handle guest complaints in accordance with policy.
  • Process WRO, Trust, Internal Reservations, and FIT reservations.
  • Call to confirm and/or guarantee non-guaranteed reservations and clear waitlisted reservations.
  • Run appropriate reports checking for special requests and hard block any rooms that are not hard blocked for special requests. Inform Manager of any Special Attention and VIP guests. Obtain arrival times for VIPs or Special Attention guests.
  • Monitor Front Desk reservations made the night prior and address any reoccurring issues.
  • Contact guests or travel planners to clarify any discrepancies in the preferences or requests before guests' arrival.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years working in hotels or customer service.
  • Previous experience with Opera PMS preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Strong phone skills needed.
  • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in Canada.
