Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Prevention Engineer to join our team at Professional Loss Control. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence in fire safety and risk management.

  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Education: Master's degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work of technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative personnel, and fellow engineers.
  • Design and implement flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Conduct assessments on the reliability and performance of industrial facilities.
  • Evaluate industrial environments for safety compliance.
  • Establish and lead programs aimed at enhancing workplace health and safety, focusing on fire hazards and other risks.
  • Create and maintain maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
  • Analyze business opportunities and formulate strategic plans.
Qualifications
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with a provincial or territorial association.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
Specialization
  • Expertise in fire protection engineering.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
