About the Role

CIMA Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Management Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in the energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including hydroelectric production, flood protection, transportation, wildlife development, and port development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hydraulic Modeling and Simulation: Utilize specialized software (1D, 2D, and 3D) to model and simulate the hydraulics of watercourses and hydraulic installations.
  • Design and Development: Design hydraulic installations such as spillways, retention basins, canals, bridges, culverts, and penstocks.
  • Climate Change Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of climate change on various infrastructures and plan and carry out field surveys.
  • Project Management: Take charge of clients, projects, or batches.
  • Technical Reporting: Write and check technical reports and contribute to the development of plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Advanced Education: Master's Degree in hydrology or hydraulics with academic training in modeling (an asset).
  • Experience: More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of river and/or coastal hydraulics.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written French and English in a professional context.
