Cleaner Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cleaner Supervisor to join our team at Allnations Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations and ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services, ensuring that costs are minimized and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained, including budgets, invoices, and payment records.
  • Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and information to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning activities are coordinated and aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Accessibility Accommodations: Ensure that facilities are accessible and inclusive for individuals with disabilities, including physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, including language training, skills training, and job placement.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in programs that support youth employment, including on-the-job training, mentorship, and job placement.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in programs that support the transition of veterans into the civilian workforce, including job placement, training, and mentorship.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in programs that support the employment and advancement of Indigenous people, including mentorship, training, and job placement.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Participate in programs that support the employment and advancement of mature workers, including phased retirement options, mentorship, and job placement.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support the employment and advancement of visible minorities, including mentorship, training, and job placement.
