Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Clean Up Friends. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
- Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and timely financial records for cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations to ensure our facilities are inclusive and accessible to all.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, and provide assistance with immediate settlement needs.
- Support for Youth: Participate in programs that support youth employment and provide on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Veterans: Participate in programs that support veterans and provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people and provide cultural competency training and awareness.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in programs that support mature workers and provide phased retirement options and resources to help with retirement planning.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support visible minorities and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.
