About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at 954559 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Place dishes in storage areas and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Assist in food preparation, including washing and sanitizing dishes and other items by hand.
    • Scour pots and pans to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment withstanding for extended periods.
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
