About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the efficient operation of our dishwashing and cleaning processes, and supporting our culinary team in preparing meals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Store and handle cleaning products and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment, with a focus on providing excellent service to our clients.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you must be willing to learn and take direction.
  • Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • You must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • You must be reliable, efficient, and able to work under pressure.
Language and Work Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. You must be fluent in English or French, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
