We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Maroon Canada Homes Ltd. as a permanent employee.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Industrial Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from our facilities.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Safety and Security Checks: Perform regular safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the appearance and integrity of our facilities.
- Teamwork: Work with minimal supervision and assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
