About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at K-LINE BUILDING MAINTENANCE LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Assist in the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and lubricate cranes and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in the mixing, pouring, and spreading of materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Assist in Framing and Demolition: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as assisting in the demolition of buildings.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the work site remains safe and efficient.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to prevent environmental harm.
Work Environment
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heights, noise, and dust.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
