About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at HM Tax and Accounting Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and financial statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
