Job Summary

TMA Autobody and Services Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including T4 statements and other tax-related documents.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and financial reports, for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

The Accounting Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
