Job Summary

Century 21 in Town Realty is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
  • Expense and Income Reporting: Prepare expense and income reports, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including T4 statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
