Position Overview

The industrialization team based in Montreal is tasked with the design and industrialization of equipment for the next generation of electrolysis cells. This cutting-edge technology is set to transform the aluminum industry for future generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage Health, Safety, and Environmental considerations
  • Design and develop equipment for electrolysis cells and aluminum production
  • Draft technical specifications for equipment manufacturing and quality assurance protocols
  • Engage in the enhancement of existing systems and machinery
  • Oversee prototype testing and conduct risk assessments
  • Provide technical support, conduct audits, and facilitate prototype validation

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within the primary aluminum sector
  • Expertise in Solidworks and Autocad
  • Membership in the Quebec Engineers Association
  • Strong analytical abilities and teamwork orientation
  • Fluency in both French and English

Location: Montreal

Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time is required.
