Mechanical Engineer Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our engineering consulting company, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project start-up meetings and ensure project scope, budget, and timelines are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, deadlines, and quality of deliverables, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as assistant project manager on major projects, supporting the project director in managing the technical team and coordinating with external stakeholders.
- Manage interdisciplinary project coordination, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including risk management, quality control, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
- Member in good standing and licensed engineer from the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a recognized engineering consulting company in Quebec and/or Canada.
- Proven track record of successful project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
