This role entails generating new business opportunities within a designated Commercial Account base and prospect territory. By effectively collaborating with clients, the Business Development Executive will deliver impactful business solutions through innovative and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize creative sales techniques and in-depth client knowledge to expand business within a portfolio of prospect accounts, leveraging the comprehensive suite of Rogers Wireless, Wireline, and Data Centre products and services.
- Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and other senior stakeholders within prospect accounts, utilizing all available Rogers resources to identify and develop business opportunities.
- Create detailed account and relationship growth strategies to gain insider status and drive new business within prospect accounts.
- Collaborate with key internal teams to craft a tailored value proposition that addresses the needs of prospects and work within Rogers to navigate any sales barriers.
- Prepare targeted, customized pricing proposals and lead the internal business case process to ensure all opportunities are thoroughly evaluated by Rogers stakeholders.
- Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets and key milestones outlined in the account plan.
- Actively engage in regular sales meetings and demonstrate leadership by sharing key insights with the broader Commercial Segment Acquisition team.
- 5-10 years of experience in the Wireless/Wireline/Data Centre and/or telecommunications sector, with a proven track record of driving new business in medium to large corporate accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and expand relationships with C-suite and other senior-level clients.
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas within prospect accounts.
- Strong understanding of wireless, data, and telecommunications products and services.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Robust account planning capabilities.
- Innovative thinker with a knack for generating solutions that align with customer needs.
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A University Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
