Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality standards are met.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff as needed.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports as required, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
