Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Oliver & Bonacini, we are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant bar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining bar standards, driving sales through innovative promotions, and building relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bar and Beverage Program Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive bar and beverage program that meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Staff Training and Development: Lead training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills in mixology, cocktail creation, and customer service.
  • Service and Operational Standards: Establish and maintain service and operational standards for the bar, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
  • Cocktail List Creation: Design and maintain a dynamic cocktail list that showcases new and innovative products, while considering costing and speed requirements.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with beverage suppliers to source new products, promotions, and improved pricing.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, inspiring staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve their full potential.
  • Guest Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving: Utilize effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in mixology and cocktail program creation.
  • Certifications: WSET Intermediate Wine Certificate or comparable.
  • Skills: Extensive beverage knowledge, superior verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
