Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Power Systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing power monitoring and control systems. Your expertise will contribute to real-time management of power systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate control strategies for real-time power system management.
  • Develop and deploy control features using Siemens-approved software.
  • Define software and hardware architecture to meet project requirements.
  • Create and revise complex components and assemblies where required.
  • Work closely with senior team members, technical leaders, and domain experts.
  • Integrate software platform components and necessary metering to create a sustainable PMCS system following the guidelines of specifications provided for specific projects and applications.
  • Perform verification and validation activities at the component level.
  • Interpret regulatory standards related to power systems.
  • Stay informed about discipline codes, local statutes, and industry guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in power system analysis, control theory, and real-time monitoring.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in the field of Data Centers with expertise in Power Monitoring and Controlling, including experience with SCADA systems.
  • Proficient working with software and PLC tools.
  • Skilled in engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetics, and power electronics.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, product managers, and CAD support staff.
  • Ability to work closely with senior engineers, technical leaders, and domain experts.
